Frequently asked questions
How long does UK Ltd formation take?
Thanks to Companies House digital filing, it completes within 1–3 business days — the fastest path into the EU market. After delivery of the Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum & Articles and director appointment, your company is active and ready for bank onboarding.
Do I need to travel to the UK?
No. The process is fully remote; passport and address details are enough to incorporate. Wise Business, Revolut Business or Tide activate within 48 hours after the Ltd is formed — no branch visit needed.
Can I be a director as a Turkish citizen?
Yes. Under the Companies Act 2006 directors don't need to be UK or EU nationals. You provide: passport copy, residential address (recorded) and you must be 16 or older.
Is VAT registration automatic?
No. VAT registration is mandatory once turnover exceeds £90,000. Voluntary registration is possible below that threshold (useful for Amazon UK or Stripe). We offer VAT registration as a separate service at £199.
What compliance is required after year one?
Annual Confirmation Statement (CS01, £89/yr), annual accounts (£349/yr) and CT600 corporation tax for active Ltds (£449/once). Companies House fee £13. Total UK compliance runs roughly $500–$800/yr.
